in the last couple weeks ive had the reduced power ses come on under different instances. mostly under heavy throttle driving. restarting the car clears it and i dont see it again for a while. im not sure on how to check the codes and when i start the car i get a service engine soon message.

could this be causing it? whats required to service the engine to clear this out? i was going to change the plugs,oil and filter but since i cant get any one my current code readers to work im stuck.
