Yes, I'd have a moan at them too. Best thing is to go armed with a spec list of your car from the Parts Department (if you ask nicely they can print it off for you for your vehicle).
The spec list often states something like 'Velour floor mats' as well as the standard and optional extras your car has. Then you've got something to go on and prove that the car should come with them and get a new set from them - worked for me!
