Anyone notice the rumors are pointed at an N55 as the engine for the new M3/4. Granted its a beefed up version, and they are only rumors.

I don't think there is any doubt about which engine package can make more power in stock form. But there is an argument that if the N54 was the better "engine", then BMW would have used a beefed up version of the N54 engine.

Just sayin...
