Fast forward a couple a weeks and I'm back in the game!!
Car's been left jacked up for last two weeks while I've waited to have 1 x Rear Wheel Welded form 2 hairline cracks. Whilst this has been going on, Ian (Hotcoupe) came to rescue yet again (thank you so much and what a legend!) by sending me 2 x 255/35/19 tyres, gratis! I only need them for a few weeks as temporary measure until my summer wheels and tyres come on.
So today, I managed to get both of the Pirelli P Zero tyres onto the OEM wheels and I'm a happy chap! The rear sticks to the ground significantly and noticeably better! I can't believe I didn't change to NRFTs before!!
So now I'm running Front 225/35/19 Bridgestone Poteza RFTs and Rears 255/35/19 (I know they're not exactly the right profile but it's worked a treat touch wood and as temporary measure, why not!?).. Rears stick like anything! I can only imagine how it must feel to have all corners as Non Run Flats!
In addendum, my PBMW Gear + Gaitor arrived today... took best part of half a minute from start to finish.. absolutely love it! Can't see me paying £160 for RRP though!!
