I agree that the food situation sucked. 1 food vendor and 4000 people ain't a good combo. Afterwards, we ended up at an authentic German restaurant about 3 miles away that was AWESOME!!
I thought the parking could have been handled better as well. I thought the plan was to start filling in the lot from the far end (down where our booth was), but when the caravans showed up early, there was mass confusion.
Luckily, we got great weather and an even better turnout. Hopefully we showed that this area can easily support an event like this and it'll be a yearly thing.
It was a shame that some people thought it was a good idea to start peeling out and drifting at the end. What a bunch of douchebags! I wouldn't be surprised that Ripken wouldn't allow us back b/c of that; they ended autocross there about 4 years ago b/c it was tearing up the pavement (their excuse).
