After my post, I actually called Solar Solutions and scheduled an appt for next Saturday. They said they did an e92 M3 last week, and they also sanded down the dots and tinted over it. They said it turned out perfect, so I guess I'm gonna go try it out
Couldn't beat the price, either - $160 for the whole car + $30 for the felt/moleskin strips inside the door panel ($15 per door)
