I highly recommend looking through this forum at other peoples setup and find one you really like. I'm running 285's on the rear and love them. I have seen 305's and it looks like we could fit a 315 on the rear. The only problem is finding wheels with the correct offset to fit that size. I really considered going that route on my xDrive, but the wheel selection sucks. 285's are plenty of meat in the rear. 245's are common on the front, but there are a few 255's and a 265 out there.
