If you want to shell out the cash, find a dealer.

Otherwise, Easycare Totalcare has never let me down. If they offer an upgrade to it, buy that too.

It's not the obvious stuff that's going to kill you $$ wise, on this or any car. FWIW it would only take 1 or 2 minor or 1 major repair to pay off the easycare.

Example - rear main seal drips on my E55 - not even a leak, not even on the ground, not even through the plastic panels below the car - $1700 job for free because the dealership wanted to do it and they had proof that there was a leak.

Example 2 - Airmatic failure [both sides] - $1300 a strut, both sides failed - $500 in labor [at least].

The only thing that could make your situation better would be to find an indy shop starved for work that's got a good relationship with whatever warranty company you choose. BRB, having all my bushings replaced under warranty.
