Gents,

A tip for bluffing a business lease if a deal is only available to you on a business lease but you want a personal deal for tax reasons... But you need a business to do it.

First set the lease up as a business lease using your company details, but pay all the deposits and initial payment on your own CC.

Once the car is delivered to you, but before 1st direct debit, then just change the direct debit bank account to your own account.

Job done. You have the car you wanted, all the paperwork says company lease, but no matter, there are no HMRC BIK implications because you are paying for it all yourself. (100% employee contribution)

You will be the register keeper at home just the same. Although business leases are as advertised without VAT, they are charged with VAT just like a personal lease.
