I disagree with that statement. Any car that can run 0-60 4.5 seconds on the street and do the quarter mile in under 13 seconds is a fast car from a dead stop.

In fact considering the power curve and gearing our cars do not stack up nearly as well when doing 60 - 120 mph runs as they do during a 0-60 or 0-100 mph run. Most turbo 6 or V8 powered sports cars/sedans will walk down the d during a 40 mph roll. However, when launched properly, the d will leap off the line (assuming you can get traction) like a bat out of hell, usually getting a very good jump on the competition and with the JBD tune the d can usually hold off a higher horsepower opponent up through about 100+ mph.

BTW, the Camry V6 is no slouch, they are known to hit 60 in the high 5 second range.
