Hard water spots are easy to remove with a simple vinegar wash. but make sure you re-apply wax/sealant/glaze afterwards since this will stip all the wax off as well.
BTW, hard water stains are just calcium deposits for the most part, and shouldn't be etched into your paint unless it was acidic sprinkler water... o.O I would stop by a professional detailer and ask them.
