I dont know how mine were removed but I think that if you look around in auto stores you can find those bearing kits(got one from a friend) and use some of the tools inside+1/2" rod with couple hardened washers and nuts.
To press them in I followed tofu's advice and got black union 2"(this is the largest size my local home depot offers) and just removed the inserts, it fits perfect to press in 2 rear bushings. For 2 front ones I used tools from the bearing kit. Sorry but I didn't take any pics.
