Need Tire Fitment Advice for Beyern 18s

Hey Folks,
Just ordered a set of staggered beyern mesh 18s for an e92 335i. Stock ZSP springs/ struts & m3 suspension conversion (adds approximately -.75 camber to front). Might change to performance springs/ struts in the future but currently undecided.

The wheels will be:
- 18 x 8.5 et 40 (front)
- 18 x 9.5 et 30 (rear)

The rear tires will be 265/35-18. My question is for the front. Most people seem to be running 235/40-18 and this size is recommended by almost all the vendors. But some are running 245 in width. Can anyone give a clear answer to 235 vs 245 in width on the front with the beyern wheels? I don't want tires that fit just to fit but rather to fit and also give the best handling.

I know this has been asked quite a few times here (trust me I searched) but could not find a clear answer.

Thanks
