As far as I'm aware, it doesn't, bluetooth only. But if you mean you prefer to be plugged in for music, you should be able to select the iphone over wire source separately from the iPhone over bluetooth source. So you can be connected to bluetooth and the wire at the same time, while audio goes over the wire.
