I'm not making any judgements but if I were a thief and it were me I would totally have taken the alu trim, people that know BMW's know it takes 10 minutes to remove all the trim and Alu is very desirable, shift knob could be taken in 30 seconds, idrive controller in a minute, gauge cluster in a minute.
