Yes, LCI E9x's have 8mm less wheel/tire clearance due to hubs that are extended 8mm further out from non-LCI cars.
Nitto offers an NT555r drag radial in a 245/45/17 size which will work. The only other size that would even remotely fit is a 275/40/17 but fender rolling, pulling, and maybe even flaring would be necessary.
