It must be. My 320d projected 15 000km's when I got it, it went up to 16000km's for a short while, and now it's at 1000km's and I've got just under 14 000km's on the odo.
It might be due to the different climate conditions, or the different conditions of out diesels.
It's interesting you say yours was on 19 000mi? The PETROL engines (which should have a longer service life) are only "supposed" to last 15 000miles? Here, petrol model service intervals around around 25 000km's...
