Very glad I found this thread. On the youtube video they made, one gent mentioned the fitment problems. It looks as though the fit and finish is great. But I'm stuck here wondering what is it really gaining over the stock system? The tube itself does not seem any more or less restrictive and the filter surface area actually seems less than drop in filter.

I like the idea of the BMS filter (simple/cheap), but sucking in hot air, regardless of FMIC cannot be a good thing in my mind. At this point, it seems like a drop in filter and possibly that mr 5 intake is the best bet. Unfortunately,m the mr 5 intake does not seem like a great idea for colorado winters, so, long story short, drop in filter it is.
