The girl that delivered it could see the disapointment on my face and jumped in to tell me that she was sorry that's all they had but it was a "1.4 Ghia", bless her (it wasn't her fault after all).
I suppose it's better than when my second e46 vert broke down a few years ago in Cornwall. I got a 10 year old 106 diesel. You had to change down to 3rd to maintain any speed up hills on the motorways home.
Anyway I guess I'll get myself geared up for the inevitable round of phone calls tomorrow and we'll see what happens.
