well, this is only partially true. the provider does have a say when it comes to those features and verizon took the liberty of using that for its own good. they disabled the OBEX on all their phones making everyone use their paid service that doesn't even remotely offer the convenience of using the same functions using bluetooth (file transfer, mainly). but since all their other bluetooth phones work with most cars, RAZR should be no exception.
