I just had some Venture Shield clear film installed by a technician who has many years of experience and works on many high end cars. In fact, when he came to my house to do my job he had just done a Rolls Royce.
Anyway....I am not familiar with the chemical composition of Wetfire but my guy said anything can be used providing it does not have any carnuba which can sometimes cause a yellowing of the film.
He also recommended Plexus which is what the manufacturer (3M) also recommends. I played it safe and ordered some Plexus which has worked out really well.
Plexus cleans, seals and protects. It is real simple to use and wipes right off. You can see water beading on it during a rain and it leaves a really nice shine. I am very happy with this product for my clear film.
My guy also said that you can use most quick detailer sprays for a touch up but just stay away from anything that contains carnuba.
