But if it goes to court the defence will want full disclosure - including before and after so they can question you on your driving habits etc and generally cast any doubt they can. Your manner of driving before the accident is most certainly relevant.

If you have 'edited' it - they will infer there is something you are hiding. And of course when this record is being viewed by Police in collecting evidence - it logs all your speeds against GPS location -could be a bit of a bummer.
