Hi all, I'm hoping there is a few mountain bikers on here. I'm after advice on what bikes I should check out? I live in the east Midlands so Sherwood pines is local, I plan on doing cannock and dalby at some point this year. I currently have a hardtail carrera fury.

I had a giant trance 27.5 2 the 2014 model on demo this being full suspension I really enjoyed it, felt nice to me but don't have much experience with full sus! I still like my hardtail but the full sus was something else. Now most of my friends have hardtail now one question will I find it boring being the only guy on a full sus?

Also I'm not very fit as a rider, I thought I was ok but when out with my trainer from my courses and he was absolutely flying ahead! Admittedly it was a 800ft climb in one go and he is use to it, but still I should be able to maintain a decent climb.

Basically surgestions as to what model and make is good, full or hardtail. Also what size wheel? I would like to spend about 1500 maybe 1800 at a push
