Check to see if you have an N51 engine. I'm not sure if the XI models came with it, but it's the SULEV version of the N52. It'll have some differences. Among other things, it includes the 3 stage intake manifold.
Just open your hood and check the emissions sticker. ULEV will be the N52 and SULEV will have the N51.
