Very tough. For similar money, you could have either a 2 year old GT-R or a 4 year old 997 C2S.
Performance wise the GT-R has it completely licked. Another positive note for the GT-R is that its half the age of a Porsche which is soon to be outdated by its successor.
The Porsche how ever does look special (In a different way to how the GT-R looks special) and does have some kudos for being a Porsche.
It would be a very VERY tough call for me, if I had 40k burning a hole in my pocket.
