For the record, I just picked up my car and it had lifter tick too. Added some Molyslip to the crank case and no lifter tick at all now.

How much and what oil do you use? Curious.
On many other vehicle forums and sites I read about sticky or noisy hydraulic lifters and it all seems to come back to buildup in the lifter itself. So additive that are a detergent or solvent seem to clean out that lifter and allow fresh oil to get back in.
