You'll have to use a piece of wood, 2x4 or whatever you can size to get in there.
Measure and cut.
Alternative is to use a hockey puck and cut that so it looks like those 25 dollar metal adapters.
I butchered a piece of wood and have used it successfully but I'm tempted to splurge on the metal adapter.
