Our last three BMs have been two e46 330d sports and an M3. The 330d sports exhibited more body roll than the M3 but the ride seemed very similar. The M3 was on 17s whereas both e46s were on 18s. When we went for a test drive in a 335d M Sport, both my wife and I commented that we thought the ride quality was better than the e46 even though it had run flats.

I guess it all boils down to what you are used to but personally we wouldn't buy a non sport model. I don't know for sure but I believe the Michelins that are offered on M Sport models offer a better ride than Bridgestones.

Regards

Chris
