The dynamat is a mat of sorts more like insulation. If you put a sub in your trunk and you get rattling problems the dynamat will help out and I agree with cdheaven on the fact there are some other companies out there that sell the same thing for a lot less but that web site will give you a good idea at what that stuff can do.
