I think I'm converted. I didn't realise you can go to a garage other than BMW due to the mileage wear indicator on the car, I thought it would need resetting or something?
I don't mind servicing the car at BMW but pads etc can be done elsewhere.
My car needs fronts soon and rears shortly after, might just do all 4 at once.
They are quite cheap on that eurocar parts link.
