I have been told by my indy shop that the burning oil smell is because I have a valve cover gasket leak. Also when I came back to use my car after the holidays and it was sitting for 2 weeks the low oil light came up.

My questions are-

What should I ask for when before dropping my car off?

How much should I expect to spend?

Do you think this is a valve cover gasket problem?
