Even if you’re the most fastidious owner there ever was, mileage will always take it toll on parts, such as bearings, shocks, bushes and so on.

Of course, but there just parts which every car will have replace at some point. Most likely within 12 months of another one which has more miles etc.
If it has got to 72k in a few years then safe to saY IT has done many journeys where everything got upto temp.
