I have a 2010 e60. With CIC. I know this is for 3series, but I think the info is the same. If not, please forgive me.
SO I have copied the updates to my USB stick and have my fsc code...
Problem is that my car doesn't recognize USB update. Ive tried the USB on the center console and the glovebox. Nothing.
I see some info about a CIC firmware update? I'm pretty sure my Indy did this for me, he did a module update on my car last fall. I dont have the 2013 CIC dvd's and dont want to use them anyway.
Do I need to update my CIC firmware to update from USB? If so, can it be done with an autologic? Thats what my indy uses.
