Yes i'm planning to do all the subtle and easy mods i can do myself first, then go onto other things. Will keep this thread updated.

Start how you mean to go on,a 335D needs to be driven,not nannied,if you wanted economy you should of stuck with the 320D.
MPG will be pants in this weather anyway,but diesels love cold dense air,so once the weather clears,flick the DTC button once,and then feel the extra buzz that gives you!

Definitely don't need high economy but i thought i'd get at leaast 30-35mpg when thrashing it, this is what awbimmer gets. 20-24 is a bit low. But i don't know if its a problem or like you say a combination of the weather and having my foot planted
Guess i need to drive like a normal person on a motorway and see what happens!
Will definitely try the DTC button, used to in the 320D. Never had it completely off though!
