There's plenty of chain hotels (I mean Intercontinental, Hilton, Westin, W, Hyatt) around the city. For team such as McLaren which has Hilton as sponsor, will accommodate them into Hilton or similar.
I don't think the hospitality is the worse in Austin compare to other tracks like Suzuka or Korean. Where there are no 5 stars hotels nearby.
I recall I read in F1 Magazine talking about Jenson's accommodation in Singapore where he stayed in Conrad. But in Suzuka, many had to stay in the "dorm" near the track. There just not much good hotels near by.
Same thing as Korean track, Its not like there's any big cities and hotels near the swamp.
