I drove the new 550i last week, and the 530i a few weeks ago. I totally agree with you regarding the steering; it felt kind of loose and I just didn't get the road feel I am used to with a BMW. After being in a 3 series the past 3 years I just don't think I could go back to a 5. A car that big just has different handling dynamics.
