I've got the step on my 335i. It's really good. I was in 2 minds when I ordered it, but i'm glad I did now. I don't find mine hunting for gears.
The normal mode, sport mode and manual mode all seem to work really well. It's so much easier through traffic with the manual & there's always the paddles for when I want to play.
