Isn't that the same as revving the engine in N and then kicking it into D or 1 or L....that's very very traumatic to the drivetrain
Wouldn't you get the same result brake torquing your car in 1st gear?
The launch control in the M3 sets an ideal level of revs to launch the car.
Definitely, something that is best reserved for rentals or loaners...if you really have to.
