The goal behind an oil catch can is to catch oil and place it in a can

Why we run it? well because blow by oil, which is more significant in some cars than others, will end up in the combustion chamber and will cause carbon build up. The higher boost you run the more blow by you'll have. The circuit to which we install the catch can is the WOT circuit btw.

it will slow down the carbon build up process but not eliminate it.

After a lot of research I've opted for the BMS one. I haven't checked it to see the oil it caught if any. Big Tom's OCC caught a decent amount.
