I purchased BMW provided Road hazard warranty. I ran over a plank of wood with nails on the highway with the left side of my car. Both of the left tires went flat.
The Service Advisor asked a few questions, looked at the tires, took pictures, and replaced them with new OEM tires and balanced them too.
I didn't have to pay anything else. The receipt showed that the hazard insurance paid $930.
Because it is so nice and worthwhile, I would not recommend scamming the system.
