I went to a tire shop today and they took a quick look at it. His recommendation was that it looks cosmetic and I should just keep an eye on the pressure and get this...glue the rubber back in. If it ends up losing pressure, get a new tire, but if it doesn't, it should be fine. Weird huh? I guess I'll take my chances...if anything, I don't gamble, so maybe my luck will be good on this one (if there is such thing?)

Glue worked for me couple times on 18" and 19" tyres Non RFT.
No worry.
