From experience, ride quiality on H&R Sport Springs and Stock shocks are ok, it's not bouncy but bumps are a bit harsher.

I've been riding for a little over a year and i'm already to the point where I need to start investing in good shocks or go coilover route, I believe one of my shocks is starting to sag a little.

From what I have read on e90post, and i've looked into this topic a lot recently, it seems that even people who go w/ the koni yellow agree that going coilovers gives you a better handling and better ride. (plust you can adjust height)

I was going to go Koni yellows which I believe run around $700 to $800 (new) but now i'm just thinking i'm going to go coilovers and be done w/ it.

All in all, my honest opinion, save your money get coils. Luckily I did my own springs at home, it wasn't too hard w/ an extra set of hands.
