You get what you pay for.
As mentioned before, for normal everyday driving, they are fine. When it comes to spirited driving, I much preferred the Michelin Pilot Sport RFT's that my car came with.
I didn't do much, if not any, sporty driving this past summer, so I was happy with the General's. However, if I were to buy tires again, I would just pay the extra money and buy better ones.
