Dealer quote to replace the HPFP was ~$970. I did check local independent BMW shops, and they ranged from $600 - $800. Hope this helps.

There were also reported repeat failures! It is just a poorly designed piece! I am wondering what happens when it failed the second time and is after the extended warranty? Shouldn't the new piece be warrant for another 120,000 miles? lol
