We've had really good luck with him. Always kept him pretty lean at about 55lbs. He broke his front leg jumping off a chair when he was about 1, so he definitely has arthritis there, but other than that he's been very healthy.
It is certainly in the back of my mind that he's an older Bulldog. The way he plays with the puppy, you would never know he was 9.
