My only point about Amex concierge's ability to get you "sold out" tickets being over-exaggerated is this" It's not as though concerts sequester off a portion of the available seats for Centurion or Amex Platinum card members.
If a concert is sold out and you ask the Amex concierge for help, what you'll get is a guy (or girl) who literally goes onto the internet and searches craigslist or other secondary markets to see if anyone is selling tickets privately. That's it. It's nothing that a reasonably competent individual couldn't do.
The concierge is nothing more than a personal assistant. They don't have any more leverage or "pull" than the average person when it comes to obtaining sold out concert tickets.
