Yeah the Audi salespeople that I have come across here in NI are jumped-up and arrogant to say the least.
Once, I went to look at the A4 2.5tdi a few years ago and was going to trade my E46 330d sport saloon. The salesguy more or less tried to tell me that I was stepping up and that my car was in a different league to the A4. Flippin cheek. I was also not impressed by the drive of the A4 anyway so it did not matter.
A while back My wife went to look at the A3, and after trying to tell the polish pigeon-english receptionist that she had an appointment, waited for about half an hour for noone to come near her. She left in disgust and never darkened the door again.
Needless to say, she had a great experience when buying the 120d sport.
