If we are talking about modern performance cars, I prefer the power delivery of a NA engine. New turbo engines have such a flat torque curve that they don't feel like they are doing anything. I like an engine that you wind up a bit, its like foreplay. In my mind I am comparing my e60 M5 and its fantastic v-10 to the Panamera Turbo I test drove. The Panamera is faster an more powerful, but it just didn't feel as exciting.
That being said, i like the fuel economy of a modern FI engine. I have also found that supercharged engine strikes a nice balance between the other two. My S4 feels like it has a larger displacement NA engine instead of the smaller SC engine that it actually has.
