Like I said before I cant shift it out of Park. It's as if my key no longer belongs to my car. I'm stumped.

You will need to open the engine bay before starting the car. The clicking is very faint and you will not be able to hear it in your cabin. I had to get someone start the car for me while standing next to the engine with the hood popped.
