Glad you got it working. Great thinking on "tricking" the system in order to avoid tearing apart everything to disconnect before flashing.
What is the dealer charging for recoding and did he charge separately for the I-Level flashing or include it in your recode charges? IOW how much did you save on labor by doing the install yourself?
